Christian Paintings Gallery 1 Watercolors, Acrylics, Oil & Ink
This Christian Paintings Gallery features thumbnails of my art created in ink, watercolors, acrylics and oils. I rarely work in just one medium. The thrill of discovery in each medium keeps me completely engaged in the process of art.

What I yearn to express usually determines what medium I will work
in. Most often, as those of you who are artists know too well, what I
eventually create falls far short of what I had hoped for!
Even so,
the pursuit of excellence in expression is well worth my while! I hope
my audience will also look kindly upon my efforts, grasping somehow what
I attempt to say!
Watercolor is the medium I first learned after basic drawing. I discovered sculpture much later and fell in love with it. Acrylic
painting is a natural extension of painting in watercolor, except that
it is far more forgiving. I am not quite as familiar with oils as the
other two media, although I do enjoy the buttery feel of oil paints on
a taut canvas. As for working in collage and mixed media, it is so much fun to
become a child again - anything goes, all rules are thrown out the
window and the painting surface becomes an sensory and interactive
object!
